I think in the general sense - i.e., "What features should a vehicle-tracking GPS have?" - this is acceptable. If it's asking for specific hardware recommendations, then no. – Matt Parker Jun 2 '10 at 1:30

I don't see why asking for specific hardware is a bad thing, as long it stays on topic in regards to vehicle tracking GPS. – Nathan W Jun 2 '10 at 1:50
