Proposed Q&A site for anyone learning a new language or wanting to have a quick translation of a sentence/idea. This site is focused on people looking for resources to learn new languages, translating phrases or questions, as well as grammar related questions.

What does anyone think about dropping the reference to translation in the description. I don't think the world needs another fountain of "How do you say..." type questions. For anyone learning a new language they aren't really very helpful. – Chris Aug 17 '10 at 10:25

Learning languages may be a good topic, but once you add "translation" that is better left to Proz.com. Combining the two would make for a cluttered site,. – Mark C Sep 18 '10 at 19:37
