I want to know how the SO engine will deal with questions that will have shifting answers over time, e.g. what's the best sub-$400 receiver for playing back a symphony? The answer will differ from year to year. – jcollum Aug 11 '10 at 16:36

This seems like a question that one sees a lot of on other forums, but the responses never answers the question that you are searching for when you stumble upon it. It can be very frustrating. Maybe a more appropriate question might be "What should I look for in....?" or "How should I evaluate the differences between...?", but these questions become very broad, very quickly.
