Such broad polling / opinion-seeking questions tend to be a poor fit to the StackExchange format. Can you find a rephrasing that's both more specific and could have an objective answer? – EnergyNumbers Mar 24 at 8:51

Beauchamp et al outlined a new ethics framework for "learning healthcare systems". Is it too early to incorporate this new paradigm into my study?

When to use bayesian methods in epidemiology ?

This invites speculation; it would also seem that any answer could go quickly out of date. But I too am interested in the market share of Bayesian Epidemiology. Can you find a way to rephrase this that would have an objective, non-speculative answer that would stand the test of time? – EnergyNumbers Mar 24 at 8:52
@energynumber can't you suggest without downvoting ? This is not the best way to incite the non english native speakers to expres themselves. – Epifunky Mar 24 at 11:14

My IRB refuses to approve opt-out consent for my study, even though it satisfies CFR 46.116d criteria. Do I have any recourse?

To me, this one gets rather close to legal advice, which would worry me. – EpiGrad Feb 18 at 9:57
@EpiGrad, this seems to imply that the description should be changed to, "... as well as associated fields... except for health law." I would be in favor of allowing discussion of legal aspects of research and health policy. I doubt a public health professional would confuse a StackExchange answer for law of the land. – jthetzel Feb 18 at 18:19
