I believe its a good question and voting for reopen, that can be framed as what deities you had followed earlier or why is that you are no more interested in following your deity? what circumstances had led you to come into the realm of atheism? – Nikhil Mulley Jan 26 at 17:43

I think that in it's current state, the question isn't suited for the Atheism SE, for a few reasons... A) It's an open-ended question. There are no right and wrong answers, really. B) It's based on personal experience, and how you'd be convinced as an individual. However, I do see "the point" of the question. Perhaps rephasing it to be more definitive and less personal would yield a better welcome. – LanceLafontaine Apr 5 at 2:08
