I've asked database questions on both Stack Overflow and Server Fault. Stack Overflow gets you quicker and better answers simply because more people hang out there. I suspect a strictly database site, would suffer the same way – cindi Jun 8 '10 at 17:22

While this question isn't really off-topic, it'd be a good example of a "too vague" question. The best tool really depends on what you mean by "develop a database". – CanSpice Sep 20 '10 at 16:43

	I would be ok with this question if it were MySQL in reference to the recent forks and oracle buyout. But there's absolutely nothing to suggest that postgres is taking a downturn. – xenoterracide Jul 21 '10 at 7:57
