While SDR is new and interesting, and I'd love to see SDR questions here, I don't think that this particular question is a great example - it's subjective and will be asked by a thousand curious Stack Overflow denizens. Something like "I've got GNU Radio connected to my sound card hardware, but I've only got one computer. How do I demonstrate that something is happening over a radio link?" would be good and useful to the same crowd. – Kevin Vermeer Aug 20 '12 at 15:02

@Kevin Vermeer You are quite right. The question is too vague, it should be more specific to be any use. – OH6KVU Aug 21 '12 at 9:20

@RobertCartaino Just to clarify, I wasn't trying to answer the question, but rather point out that modifying CB equipment (AFAIK) is illegal in the US, though I don't know if that would be a problem or not. I.e. Does it matter to the site that it's illegal? – Seth Mar 9 at 2:58

@Everett quite true. Q&A format suits these kind of questions poorly. Maybe "Can wood be used for ... ? Why not?" – jkj Aug 9 '12 at 21:14
