Maybe this should be reworded to "How can I help a depressed person understand the importance of taking his/her medication?" (Personal experience, there is usually more than one pill to be taken and the two or three pills--sometimes more--are critical and not always just an antidepressant.) – Souta Nov 9 '12 at 2:35
