How to keep absinthe from getting warm?

(a bit of clarification: one is not supposed to use ice in the water when diluting absinthe for drinking. The process of diluting alcohol this strong is exothermic. As result, I end up with warm absinthe.) – SF. Jan 28 at 7:52
As a possible answer, have you looked into non-porous whiskey rocks? – Shotgun Ninja 8 hours ago

Why does beer before liquor make you sicker?
added by Decker W Brower, edited by Flimzy May 16 at 22:59
link|flag
Sicker than what? – Flimzy May 16 at 22:59
@Flimzy: than same amount of alcohol consumed just as the beer or just as the liquor. Mixing beer and liquors is long known to cause intense hangovers way beyond what any of these drinks alone cause. Physiology of this effect seems mysterious to me though. – SF. May 20 at 10:49
That needs to be part of the question. – Flimzy May 20 at 19:10
this is a common saying where i come from. "beer before liquor makes you sicker, liquor before beer your in the clear" this would be explained in the rest of the question. and to be clear the question is exactly "why does beer before liquor make you sicker?" – Decker W Brower May 20 at 20:00

What does it take to make "Legal" moonshine in the US?
added by Chad Mar 27 at 18:45

Where? This is highly location-dependant... and should probably be off topic, as it is essentially asking for legal advice. – Flimzy May 16 at 23:02
@Flimzy - Actually It is asking for the process that you must follow to be approved get a licence. This is well defined and regulated by the US Government but it is not asking for legal advice any more than asking what the legal drinking age is. – Chad May 23 at 17:34
