Which tea contains the most caffeine?
added by Ross Spencer Feb 8 at 12:26

This would be very useful for those who have health issues with caffeine (I have a few times), but I'm sure there would be just as many if not more people looking for what can help them stay awake... – atlantiza Mar 29 at 4:09

What is the most appropriate tea strainer for very fine teas? (for example fresh mint tea)
added by Ross Spencer Feb 8 at 12:28

I'm quite fond of brewing baskets from teeli. I'm getting more and more fond of my open kyusu which has an fine metal mesh filter and it's glaced so it doesn't absorb the taste from the tea. – Fredrik Pihl Feb 8 at 19:43

Caffeine in black tea becomes less effective with increasing steeping times. Is it the same way in green teas?

This is worded in a strange way. It makes it sound like the caffeine is less effective if you steep your tea longer, but I don't think that is correct. – Highly Irregular Mar 6 at 8:34

This seems more relevant to history.stackexchange.com – atlantiza Mar 28 at 17:21
I suppose it depends on your perspective. Would every question about tea history get migrated? Do questions about bicycle history get bumped off of the bicycle SE? – Brendan Mar 28 at 19:37
The way the question is worded now, the perspective seems to have a history focus rather than a tea focus. It is about European/American history in relation to tea. This is not the same as asking the origin of a particular type of tea. – atlantiza Mar 29 at 4:12

Not so sure about the relevance of this question, but personally I hate just dumping them in the trash and was wondering if there were any other (household?) uses. – atlantiza Mar 28 at 17:23
