Fan of mathematics, punk rock, sci fi, social issues, politics, theoretical physics, dry humor, and run-on sentences. I make computers do stuff for money.
I tend to program mostly in python (for django, and mathematical research), javascript (because it's almost like python), C# (for no particular reason), Java (I'm learning to Android), and C (sometimes I need to twiddle bits and write directly to memory).
I'm currently a software engineer at an independent software house called Urban Robotics, located in the fine city of Portland. We work in computer vision, and build supercomputing clusters and multi-spectral sensor arrays. If you know a thing or two about javascript, web development, or C++, and don't mind working on amazing technology, drop me a line. I have a gig for you.
