Currently doing DBA/dev work (Db, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS) in a SQL 2008 environment. Have worked in 2005, 2008 R2, and 2012 environments as well. Have used C# and VB for scripting, as well as heavy VBA dev in Access and Excel. Past work experience also includes programming with SAS, also familiar with Oracle, Sybase.
Using CentOS with Postgresql at home. Looking at doing Linux(CentOS) development in C++. Interested in machine learning, financial econometrics, and fundamental financial analysis of companies.
