Buying a car is the second biggest financial decision most people will make and there are all kinds of financial implications as listed in my earlier comment. Without knowing more about the mortgage costs, rental costs, your other financial commitments etc. I don't think this works. I think it would be on topic if phrased in terms of pros and cons or in terms of LTVs and interest rates
