I am a young Computer Science student, interested primarily in computer infrastructure. To clarify if something has to do with compilers, operating systems, programming languages or virtual machines it's worth taking a closer look. From programming languages I am currently studying Python and C. I have some (albeit less) experience with Java and some experience with C#. I work primarily on Unix(-like) boxes, and even though I strongly prefer them to Windows, I feel like I should be pragmatic so I spend time on Windows as well, trying to study it as I do with Unix. My plans (as far as programming languages are concerned) are to take a look (and learn idiomatically if possible) both C++ and Haskell. I also feel like I want to study Go at some time in the future, though my current time schedule as well as my brain can not afford to pick up yet another language. |
