“안” and “속” both mean “inside”, right? Is there any difference in the way they are used? When would you use one word instead of the other?
In the sentence, “문 좀 열어 주세요” (“Please open the door”), does “좀” mean “a little”, or does it have a different meaning?
Could you please explain the conjugation of “창조하시니라” used in Genesis 1:1 (개역성경)? I'm not familiar with this verb ending. Why is it not just “창조했어요”?
I constantly see the phrase, “I'm leaving first”, in the English subtitles for Korean dramas. What is the Korean phrase, and why do people say it?
Can you explain the relationship between Korean days of the week (월,화,수,…) and Chinese? Example: 月 means moon. Does Chinese also use it for Monday?
feedback always welcome
