For filmmakers and filmmaking enthusiastics at all levels
I'm reverse engineering a [perhiperal device] for the [computer]. What does unmarked [IC#/part] do? It appears to be connected to [line, etc].
I wrote a program for the [computer] using [emulator]. It runs perfectly on the emulator, but not the actual system (or vice versa). Why?
Attached is a picture of some hardware I found that appears to be for [computer]. What is it?
I found a bunch of 8“ and 5 1/4” floppy disks, many with labels that simply say “programs”. How can I determine what computer system they're for?
How are 48fps movies (e.g., The Hobbit) transferred to DVD and BRD? How does the process differ from the usual 3:2 pulldown with 24 fps to NTSC?
What is the best cross-development system/programs for [computer] in terms of function, languages, ability to trace code, writing disk images, etc?
How can I ensure consistsency between on-site dialogue and looped dialogue? They often sound completely different, so I end up looping all dialogue.
When I film minatures to composite with live action, they look like, well, minatures. How do I set my equipment to make them appear more realistic?
feedback always welcome
