The teeth is the tool best available, but it tends to leave bite marks on the bricks. My big brother was very strict with me, so I do not have too many bricks with bite marks... – awe Aug 4 '10 at 7:31

Because the topic is so broad there are too many answers. Remember, the OP would need to be able to pick one as best. I think it would be much better if narrowed down a bit, by specifying what kind of bricks are problem categorizing, etc. – awe Aug 4 '10 at 7:56

	I know answers don't count yet, but an onion bag half to two-thirds full of bricks, tied loosely, and placed in the top of the dishwasher works well... then again, "too much wear" on a LEGO brick seems impossible to achieve! =D – warren Aug 17 '10 at 12:18
	@warren: well, you know those tables with built-in bowls full of bricks that are used for promotion in department stores? Just to elaborate to the guys who voted "Great Off-Topic Example", LEGO Mindstorms NXT 2.0 IS LEGO. – muntoo Sep 4 '10 at 20:38

We have 3 Mindstorms questions, all by RegDwight. We do need to determine if Mindstorms is on-topic or off-topic. I suggest focussing our votes on THIS question for that purpose. – retracile Sep 7 '10 at 16:39

Mindstorms must be on-topic, otherwise there will be very few (good) questions. I just imagine this like mindstorms tag, which would be very nice. EDIT: Ah, there is "Lego Mindstorms Robotics" Q&A. Notice there is a specific area51 proposal for Lego Mindstorms and other robotics activities. As a consequence, this question may be redirected to that proposal, I think. – Riduidel Jul 8 '10 at 15:40

Consider Nnenn's work, Brickarms, Brickforge, and that whole mini-industry of Lego-compatible parts. I think compatible toys should be on-topic. – retracile Aug 16 '10 at 18:58
