@lukasz why not just embed eidogo? that way we can actually submit variations – baudtack Aug 19 '10 at 18:33
@docgnome: I asked about the pictures because we can embedd them directly into the question. Embed eidogo? How? Will it show directly on the site? Just-a-link is not enough if we want this site to be successful. – Łukasz Lew Aug 19 '10 at 19:15

Strangely, shidogo is still up. Here's an example of how eidogo was used. shidogo.com/questions/5/is-this-corner-killable – baudtack Aug 19 '10 at 19:57

This feels more "anime-related" than "go-related" to me. – SolarBear Jul 15 '10 at 19:13

Which is clearly off-topic... It's not "Not a good example" because we definitely DON'T want these kind of questions on the site – samoz Jul 16 '10 at 12:07
Well, Hikaru no Go definitely was a huge help in popularizing Go. – Łukasz Lew Jul 16 '10 at 13:10

No, I don't think we should talk about any of those. – samoz Jul 16 '10 at 21:49

This is actually a great off-topic example. I don't get the negative votes. – Kensai Jul 22 '10 at 0:43

Intended as a canonical off-topic example. – Łukasz Lew Aug 2 '10 at 10:42
How can you ever answer such a question. Too subjective (even though the answer is obvious - duh?) :-) – Nicholas Aug 12 '10 at 19:23
Yeah, matters of taste if you play casually, otherwise you'll have to define "better" better. – manveru Aug 19 '10 at 7:17

Why is the Go programming language so good for multithreading?
added by Gordon Gustafson, edited by WikiSpeedia hang-around Aug 19 '10 at 17:35

This is off-topic for this group - completely off-topic. – Jonathan Leffler Aug 13 '10 at 7:59
Yes, though it was an interesting choice of name for the programming language! – ixtmixilix Aug 13 '10 at 20:45
Since we've already got almost 20 votes on the off-topic questions, it would be good if the people new to this proposal would simply cast their votes on those, as well as the 5 on-topic ones that are already ranked quite high. Then we can move on to the commitment/referral stage. After that, we go live! – ixtmixilix Aug 13 '10 at 20:46
Still, a good off topic example. We need to clarify that this has nothing to do with the language. – mafutrct Aug 17 '10 at 9:59

@mafutrct Anyway, it's not really a good example question, because lots of go-related stuff is bound to be off-topic. This isn't actually related to go at all, so it's not going to test the boundaries of what the site will end up handling, because no one in their right mind would ask such a question anyway. – LuYou Aug 18 '10 at 4:46

Where are good sites in germany for nordic walking?

I don't see a connection to Go at all here. – Jeff Elser Aug 10 '10 at 23:07
This does not seem to be about go at all. – Marc Reside Aug 10 '10 at 23:18
Yes. It's not a good example for testing the boundary between on-topic new breakthroughs and off-topic Sensei's Library material. – ixtmixilix Aug 10 '10 at 23:41

Sorry, it was a pun on "go" - "walk". :) – Svante Aug 11 '10 at 8:37
Was this accidentally added to the wrong proposal? – mafutrct Aug 11 '10 at 8:37
