This question is unlikely to ever help any future visitors; it is only relevant to a small geographic area, a specific moment in time, or an extraordinarily narrow situation that is not generally applicable to the worldwide audience of the internet.

Close voters, how is this localised? This question would be greatly useful to people (at least in my country) wanting to start chicken farms of any size. I think using some books on this subject I can write a good answer on this myself. I don't even have a degree on agriculture. Kindly suggest improvements. – Severus Snape Feb 7 at 16:48
@SeverusSnape - most likely because the number you could keep in, say, central Manitoba is going to be very different from southern Utah – warren Feb 9 at 14:06

Not a close voter, but this seems to be too general. More suitable for a manual or guide than on SE. Maybe we could narrow it down? – Devashish Kaushik Mar 7 at 6:37

It's difficult to tell what is being asked here. This question is ambiguous, vague, incomplete, overly broad, or rhetorical and cannot be reasonably answered in its current form.
