It...may. However, IMHO, Katanagatari is actually very specific because of it's particular style. That and the question description would have more. I don't think similarity is very subjective, not sure why that would be? o_O? – Garet Claborn Jun 7 '11 at 19:08

	Legal issues are off-topic on almost all SE sites. You're manga experts, not legal experts. In addition, the answers will either be probably wrong or relevant only to a particular region; copyright laws are one of the many types of laws that are highly jurisdiction-dependent. – Matthew Read Sep 15 '11 at 15:45

@rintaun Often doesn't mean always. But most importantly, and seriously people! - subjective questions are not abomination that are fated to doom in StackExchange! Have you not read this must-read blog article: blog.stackoverflow.com/2010/09/…? I recommend and insist that you read that first before condemning subjective questions to early deaths. This particular question, IMO, easily scored 5 out 6 criteria for great subjective questions explained on that page. – Lukman Jul 13 '11 at 7:46

This FAILS the criteria in that blog post, particular #4 and #6. Condemning this question is not the same as condemning all subjective questions. I'd argue it's also not on-topic. You may be cosplaying an anime character, but the question isn't actually about either -- it's about dying your hair versus a wig, which has essentially the same pros and cons regardless of what you're trying to portray. – Matthew Read Sep 15 '11 at 15:36

@Mech I want to see how the community feels about this question as it stands. It's almost guaranteed to be asked and imho fits the criteria for a good example (it has an answer). I think a question about the themes of a work is a fundamentally different question and merits its own question. – karategeek6 Jul 15 '11 at 22:16

This might be an on-topic example question, but I don't think that it's a great one. Like, why do you even have to know how many times that master and familiar (read:slave) couple kissed in the whole series? Why not ask what is Louise's favorite panties pattern while you are at it? – Lukman Sep 23 '11 at 8:43
