It's difficult to tell what is being asked here. This question is ambiguous, vague, incomplete, overly broad, or rhetorical and cannot be reasonably answered in its current form.

This question is not a good fit to our Q&A format. We expect answers to generally involve facts, references, or specific expertise; this question will likely solicit opinion, debate, arguments, polling, or extended discussion.

Comments are here to help improve the questions; not to answer them. Thank you. – Robert Cartaino Feb 25 '13 at 15:14

I consider it fully bullshit. You can't do it. – gioypi Feb 23 '13 at 18:57

@gioy doesn't matter, it's just an example question(an answer saying that you can't do it and why is great) . "normal" hypnotism is an established psychological trick, it's a perfectly valid question to ask if it can be done to oneself (effectively, tricking ones mind) – Manishearth Feb 24 '13 at 4:24
Also, could whoever that VTC'd explain why? I don't really see how this is NC :s While the hypnotism seen in movies is crap, hypnotism is still an established, mainstream technique . – Manishearth Feb 24 '13 at 4:27
