I live in [country]. Am I allowed to use Tor or run a relay or an exit node?

This is essentially a legal question. Personally I feel this would open a can of worms that might be best avoided. Perhaps a different phrasing could make this work - "What laws should I consider before running Tor/a relay/an exit in <country>". Rather than asking for specific legal advice this just asks for relevant factors. – Samuel Walker Jun 14 '13 at 10:54

This question is unlikely to ever help any future visitors; it is only relevant to a small geographic area, a specific moment in time, or an extraordinarily narrow situation that is not generally applicable to the worldwide audience of the internet.

1
It might be preferential to ask the question, "Is it possible to remove objectionable content from hidden services?" – ralph Jun 15 '13 at 2:38
This also becomes a customer service issue which Stack Exchange will not be able to provide. – Robert Cartaino Jun 18 '13 at 15:38

What is the advantage of using Tails over the Tor Browser Bundle from an anonymity perspective?
added by wilton Jun 14 '13 at 13:29

The Tails operating system comes pre-configured with the "transparent proxy" option. This sends all network traffic over Tor. – Anonymous Jun 18 '13 at 17:11

Is it possible to identify me if I'm using the TBB and other Internet-based applications at the same time?

Yes, I think. Though it depends how you define "identify." Usually I close regular Firefox when I'm using the TBB so I don't get confused about which browser I'm in. – Anonymous Jun 18 '13 at 16:18

closed as not a real question by Robert Cartaino Jun 18 '13 at 15:40

It's difficult to tell what is being asked here. This question is ambiguous, vague, incomplete, overly broad, or rhetorical and cannot be reasonably answered in its current form.

What kind of problem are you trying to solve? That's the typical type of questions we host. It isn't likely a broad request for features and benefits would be a good fit fir this site. – Robert Cartaino Jun 18 '13 at 15:40
