This question is very opinion-based. It would be better if it read something to the effect of "What factors should be used to determine how many shares someone on your advisory board should get?" As it stands, there isn't a correct answer. Nobody can tell you exactly how many. Not to mention that some companies have 1000 shares, while others have 1 million. You won't be able to give a precise number anyway. At its heart, though, I think this could be a great question. – rbwhitaker Jan 10 '14 at 16:29
