This question is relevant because in India, for example, regions are not mutually intelligible. In China as well, some difficulty may be present between dialects. – JDong Sep 17 '14 at 4:51

Which dialect do most Korean use?
added by mskimm Jul 12 '14 at 6:21
link
I think this is a valid question. Korean is a changing language with quite a few dialects. Knowing the most common or popular dialects can be useful. – JDong Feb 16 '15 at 22:37
But hard to answer. It's difficult, perhaps impossible, to draw a line between where one accent starts and antother ends. That makes it hard to count the speakers of those languages. – Danger Fourpence May 26 '15 at 3:53
