Shouldn't it say “Emacs and Elisp (Emacs Lisp)”? Should we make Elisp questions explicitly on-topic?

<comments removed> Please do not use comments to answer these questions. This proposal is not part of a Q&A site, and the task at hand is to help define what is on and off topic for a site. Comments are here to help improve the questions; not to answer them. See What is the rationale for deleting answers? Thank you. – Robert Cartaino Sep 10 '14 at 17:15

Whats are the advantages and disadvantages of building org-mode from source or getting it from elpa (, melpa, ...) or stick to the bundled version?

I'm not sure this is a good question. I get the impression the answers would be opinionated, more than absolute. – Trevoke Sep 10 '14 at 19:42

I agree with @Trevoke. Unless the question is VERY specific regarding the use-case and context, it is subjective and has no definitive answer. – Malabarba Sep 11 '14 at 13:47
It could be reformulated as, "What are the advantages and disadvantages of building org-mode from source, getting it from elpa, melpa, ...?" – Erik P. Sep 11 '14 at 13:57
There are a lot of questions out there ultimately related to problems of maint vs. Master vs. Bundled. So reformulating lile Erik P. Suggests the question and providing fitting answers would provide a linkable resource in such cases. – Tom Regner Sep 11 '14 at 15:52
The current iteration I find more plausible. Though it might require rather large answers, at least they'd be objective. – Malabarba Sep 11 '14 at 20:44
