	I doubt that this question would be constructive, as it would require clairvoyant powers to tell how specific companies would react to a license change of a specific project. A better question would be to ask 1. if they could and 2. what reasons they would have. – Philipp Mar 18 '15 at 12:00

While this does deal with open source software, it's a question more fit for a site dealing in law (there's a few proposals IIRC). I'd also recommend the gpl-violations mailing list. – Cole Johnson Mar 18 '15 at 15:37

It's difficult to tell what is being asked here. This question is ambiguous, vague, incomplete, overly broad, or rhetorical and cannot be reasonably answered in its current form.

I feel like this question would benefit from a tighter scope. Maybe consider adding what type of game it is. Or suggest a way of earning money and ask what sort of revenue you can realistically expect. – overactor Jan 21 '15 at 10:33

Yes, it is related with opensource development, mediawiki engine is far the most used opensource software on the net. This question was closed unfairly, I suggest vote for reopen. – peterh Jan 24 '15 at 13:27

@PeterHorvath This proposal is for "questions regarding motivation, marketing, organisation and licences pertaining to Open Source", not questions about how to use specific pieces of open source software. Such questions can be asked on superuser, serverfault, webapps or where ever they are on-topic. – Philipp Jan 26 '15 at 0:16

@Philipp No. It can be decided to be so, but this decision wasn't ever made. If a question is ontopic or offtopic on other SE sites, it was always irrelevant in the SE network. And other questions about motivations, etc., you voted down and closed as "too broad". – peterh Jan 26 '15 at 0:20

@warren Mediawiki is the far most popular opensource product in everyday use on the net. Maybe a little bit of reformulating could be needed into the direction of the interaction of the meta tags and the community management. – peterh Jan 22 '15 at 19:37
