I am a software developer at IBM Hursley Park. I work on CICS Explorer, a modern intuitive Eclipse based platform for CICS users to explore and control the CICS Platform. You can also use it write and deploy programs to CICS.
CICS Explorer ships as a plugin based on IBM zOS explorer which provides similar access to Data Sets, the Unix file system and jobs running on zOS.
Various useful tools and plugins can be added to the Eclipse platform from IBM and other providers.
I currently write in my preferred language Java, but I have used C, C++, C# and mainframe assembler, COBOL, REXX and PL/1 over the years.
I have worked on z/OS, Windows, Linux & OS/400 in my career. I tend to use Linux and OS/X on a PC these days.
To relax I take long walks listening to music, read Science Fiction and I love to watch movies.
