I've been a software developer since the late 90's and have touched a lot of different kinds of systems and code. Today, I usually work on database-driven web applications. Although I love writing new code, I have the tenacity, patience, and ability to grok big legacy projects, so often that's where I am assigned. You may find me here asking questions about something that's a few versions old.
Web application accessibility is a major interest of mine, so I like to read and ask questions about screen readers, cognitive load, and alternate input methods. Currently, I am fortunate enough to work for a tech-smart non-profit which highly values open-source software.
