Senior Systems Engineer (Oracle/SQL Server DBA), with experience in Windows server administration, LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) support, hobbyist-level programming (Visual Basic), and bits and pieces of other IT experience along the 18+ years of my career. I've dabbled in Arduino systems, SSRS, Crystal Reports, and half a dozen other technologies.
Consulting I provide ongoing parttime IT consulting for two of my three previous employers and anyone else who asks nicely and pays on time.
Gaming I've been playing tabletop roleplaying games since back in the day when Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) had only one edition. I've spent more money than I care to admit on (A)D&D 1e, 2e, 3e, 3.5, and 4. I also have a ton of the old TSR Marvel Super Heroes RPG, the Deadlands (original edition) game, ShadowRun, GURPS, Numenera, and a few others. Sadly, I don't get to game nearly as often as I'd like.
