I work in the fields of Materials Science by performing Quantum Chemistry and Solid State calculations, Molecular Dynamics and Monte Carlo Simulations. I developed High Performance Computing (HPC) parallel algorithms and simulation methods for nano-, meso-, macro- and multiscale phenomena. My current research interests are focused on HPC simulation methods for energy materials and I am leading the research program "HPC in Physical Chemistry" at Institute of Physical Chemistry "Ilie Murgulescu", Bucharest, Romania.
