I am the Founder and Director of Ocean Science Analytics (OSA), which is comprised of science technology experts that enlist the use of software tools for both research and educational purposes. Our expertise in technology-based analytical methods and a wide range of programs is rooted in an oceanic and coastal ecosystem framework. We employ our collective experience to both conduct physical and biological research, and provide technology centered training to a broad audience.
In addition to OSA, I serve as Adjunct Faculty at several local colleges and universities including California State University San Marcos (CSUSM), Miramar College, and the University of San Diego. I teach General Biology and specialize in online education as well as incorporation of technology into my coursework. OSA is currently working with CSUSM and the Agua Hedionda Lagoon to develop an internship program for undergraduate students to study wetlands through bioacoustic monitoring, density estimation of endangered bird species, and spatial and temporal habitat assessment using GIS and drone technologies.
