proposed question | Role-playing Games: What's the best way to introduce new players to Paranoia and the Alpha Complex? |

Role-playing Games Dumb question of the day: While StackExchange is ideally suited for questions which have definitive answers, meta has shown that discussion-based, open-ended questions can work on the platform. With a topic like this, where almost everything would be of that nature, is it really critical to limit only to specific, single-correct-answer questions? |

Gaming: The Chess game that came with my Mac is too hard! How can I beat it? Strategies, anyone? To me, what makes it off-topic isn't so much that, it's that chess strategy is the same with or without the device involved -- IE, if we pull "that came with my Mac" out of the question, the answers are identical, and thus it's totally off-topic for video gaming ... |

Gaming: How can I increase my block and armor skills in Oblivion quickly? @dboarman: That's fine, the WoW guy can open his/her own question. :) (I'm totally unfamiliar with WoW, refuse to even install it ... ) |

Role-playing Games: How to deal with players which keep constantly arguing about rules instead of, you know, *playing*? Paranoia has built-in rules for this one. One of them is, simply, the Gamemaster is always right. The second is, it's treason to argue with the Gamemaster. |

Photography and Photographic Editing: At what point in retouching does a photo become a “photo illustration?” It's probably impossible to get a "one true answer" objectively, but understand that the terms (in the newspaper world, in particular) are very different, and there are actually thresholds for where adjustment goes from a photo credit to a photo illustration credit. (I have a newspaper background ... And I remember getting my wrist slapped for crediting a home page shot "photo" when it was actually "photo illustration." :) ) |

Photography and Photographic Editing: The great “fix my photo” thread! Let's get this one out of the way. NARQ, at best. |

Gaming: The Chess game that came with my Mac is too hard! How can I beat it? Strategies, anyone? Such a blurry, blurry line. :) But I'd think off-topic. |
