One of the biggest problems of this website, is moderator/high rep abuse. This entire website's premise is to allow opinions to dictate everything. Opinions which are inherently biased and more than often wrong. Allowing community opinion, is just asking for low quality control.

This isn't even CLOSE to the same question as the supposed duplicate. Robert Cartaino is dead wrong. A prime example of the question itself: A moderator abusing his power to close a question which is not a duplicate, because it brings about the possibility of questioning the validity of said power.
